Club Calendar.
Our diving expeditions have taken our members all over the world - from Egypt to Malta, Norway, Cuba and Canada to name just a few.
In the UK, members have dived all around the coastline from Scapa Flow in the Orkneys, down the east coast and on many wrecks and reefs along the English Channel.
Our members have a wide range of diving interests including marine biology, marine archaeology, photography and technical diving with mixed gases.
Our Diving Officer works hard to ensure that we offer a range of different opportunities for all of our members; she also welcomes new suggestions or offers of help to organise trips.
Forthcoming events can be found below, although the times for dive trips are indicative, subject to confirmation by the Dive Officer or trip organiser.
Members are encouraged to check the list regularly as new activities are frequently added.
Christmas club night & buffet
Its time for the annual LUEC Christmas buffet!
Starting from 8.30, to allow members to have a swim to work up an appetite if they wish, we will have a nice Christmas buffet.
The pool is open 8pm-9pm as usual for private use by LUEC members and family.
Do make the effort to pop on down and to see your club mates and spread some festive cheer.
Buffet food donations are very welcome, please just bring a small dish to feed 4-6 people, that way we should all have a nice array of food to eat without having too much wasted (or taken home in tupperware!).
Wear your fave Christmas tee shirt or jumper if you really want to spread the festive cheer
LUEC Stoney Cove Sunday
Join us for a dive or two down at or favourite dive site; Stoney Cove.
The plan is to meet up nice and early - We aim to have 2 dives before drying off and heading to Nemos for a beverage and or some cheesy chips. Diving sure does work up an appetite!
Stoney Cove has been particularly busy the past few weeks so we aim to get there early (before 8am) to secure a space in the queue for the car park.
You can book a parking space direct with Stoney if you’d prefer a few extra minutes in your warm cozy bed.
We have Doug & Sarah both available as instructors for any training that you may like; please message in the ‘Diving coordination’ WhatsApp Group to book in with them and confirm attendance in the SPOND app.
