What did you do this weekend?

Instructor crossover

Through our affiliation with BSAC it is easy for qualified scuba (and snorkel) instructors to continue teaching with us. Regardless of your initial agency of training (PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors), SSI (Scuba Schools International), SDI (Scuba Diving International), ScotSAC (Scottish Sub Aqua Club), NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors ), SAA (Sub Aqua Association), GUE (Global Underwater Explorers) or other, you would be a welcome addition to our Club.

The Instructor Crossover course was a great experience. The balance of training between lectures, interactive learning and open water practical sessions was spot on. I feel confident in delivering the BSAC training schedule to our club members.

BSAC's instructor crossover course offers a straightforward route to teach scuba diving in a BSAC affiliated club. LUEC and BSAC recognises the value of your existing instructor qualification and this crossover course is the way to become familiar with the BSAC Diver Training Programme and the way it is taught in clubs.

If you are a qualified instructor and are considering an instructor crossover, we’d be delighted to assist with the process. In short, you can get started in three easy steps...

  1. Become a member of the Club.

  2. Complete BSAC’s Instructor Crossover Course. Courses are held frequently across the UK and costs approximately £150.

  3. Liaise with our Training Officer and/or Snorkelling Officer to discuss your availability and training requests.

For further information please contact us for a non-obligatory chat. Alternatively you may wish to contact BSAC directly by email or by calling 0151 350 6203.
